Adam Saks (1974) is a Danish painter and printmaker living and working in Berlin. Educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (1993-1999). 1996-97 he also completed studies under supervision of Prof. Bernd Koberling at Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. In 2009 he received an award from Niels Wessel Bagges Kunstfond. In 2015 Adam Saks was also the first ever to receive the Kjell Nupen Memorial Grant in Norway. Adam Saks works with a figurative form language, which is also seen in in contemporary American painting. He has had solo exhibitions at Kunsthal Nord (2016), Museum Sønderjylland (2003), Kunsthal Aarhus (2007), Lieu d'art, AAROS (2010) and others.
