Hans Schüle (b. 1965 in Neckarsulm, Germany) lives in Hohenfels D., Germany. He completed his formal training in painting and sculpture at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich and the Hochschule der Künste, Berlin between 1991-1997. Schüle works with many different mediums, but he is particularly drawn to metal. He enjoys juxtaposing medium and content through sculpting soft, organic forms. In his abstract metal works there is a sense of unabashed openness mitigated by an enduring formal tension. In addition to sculpting the space through bold designs, Schüle’s works carefully dialogue between art and the natural sciences. Hans Schüle has received numerous scholarships and awards for his work, and is represented by galleries in Germany and internationally.
